Other features include dual multi-surface rubber brushes, which grab dirt from carpet and hard floors and a spinning brush that sweeps debris into the bin of the robotic vacuum. Its floor tracking sensors aid it navigate between furniture and around edges, and Cliff Detect keeps the Roomba from falling down the stairs. It can also return automatically to the base station for easy recharging in between sessions. Although the 980's battery life and bin size aren't as impressive as some other robot vacuums, it's a reliable and solid machine that will keep your floors clean for hours on end.
